Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical shuts down VAM plant

Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM). A Polymerupdate China source informed a member of the team that "the company has halted operation at the plant on 20 May 2025 for maintenance." The duration of the shutdown was not known.
