Sinopec Mitsui is presently running its Bisphenol A (BPA) unit at optimum capacity levels. A source in China informed that "the company is heard to have currently operating its unit at 100% of production capacity rates." Located in Shanghai, China, the BPA unit has a production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
