market, Asian toluene prices rose on September 15. According to industry
sources, there were few spot offers or discussions in the market because of the
tight toluene supply. According to trading
sources, South Korea has been purchasing while China has placed the bulk of
September-early October cargoes in Southeast Asia. The bulk of September cargoes of China-origin origin has
been taken by Singapore blenders. A trader
stated that China has withheld offers for the second half of October due to
this. The Sept. 14th Typhoon Muifa made
