Sharq operates MEG units at curtailed capacity levels

Sharq is running four Monoethylene glycol (MEG) units at lower rates. A source in Saudi Arabia informed a team member, “Run rates at the units were reduced earlier this week owing to geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East.” Located in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the four units have a total production capacity of 2.1 million mt/year.
