Shandong Yangmei Hengtong has shut down its Methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the plant around November 10, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Shandong, China, the MTO plant has ethylene production capacity of 120,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 180,000 mt/year.
