Due to a lack of trading activity, the
propylene market remained stable on Nov. 23. The January ICE Brent
crude oil futures contract for January was at $89.10/b at 4:30pm Singapore
time. This is 44 cents/mt higher than its previous close of $88.66/b. The market for propylene was not supported by the increase
in crude oil. Shandong propylene was
reportedly heard at Yuan 7,275-7,340/mt ex-tank Nov 23, down Yuan 10, from Nov.
22. According to plant news, the Unv1's
CPC decreased its propylene term supply for customers in southern Unv1 from
100% to 65% in November after its Residual fluid cracker (RFCC), at Dalin,
suffered an unexpected shutdown in November. The company previously reduced its propylene supply to southern
