Shandong Jincheng Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its Group II base oils unit in Zibo. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the unit around September 30, 2025 for maintenance. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an authorized source is still pending.” Located in Zibo, Shandong in China, the unit has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
