Asia naphtha markets saw sentiment start to
rise as some end-users of naphtha began to buy cargoes. However, fundamentals
remained weak and steam crackers were operating at levels between 80%-90%,
sources stated. The
paper market saw the front-month July August MOPJ naphtha swap spread remain
stable for the third day, with a backwardation structure at $6.25-8.22/mt at the Asian close. Mid-afternoon trading ended
June 30 saw a stronger sentiment, with brokers estimating the spread at $7-9/mt. According to tender news, Petrochemical Corporation of
Singapore had concluded its spot tender for the first half of August delivery
