S-Oil Corp to shut No.1 PX unit for maintenance

S-Oil Corp is planning to take its No.1 Paraxylene (PX) unit offstream. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut the unit by March 2026 for maintenance. The plant is expected to remain shut for around 6-7 weeks.” Located in Onsan, South Korea, the No.1 PX unit has a production capacity of 700,000 mt/year.
