Asian FOB Singapore MTBE was at $1,029.37-1,050.50/mt
(Aug. 29), down $4.50-5.50/mt. The
92RON gasoline crack fell to 6.89 on Aug. 29, from 8.32 on Aug. 29, while the
92RON gasoline was unchanged at $108.18-120.46/b for the day. Aramco Singapore offered 2,000 MTBE cargo to be loaded Sept.
25-29 FOB Straits during the Market on Close (MOC) process on Aug. 29. The price was then reduced to $1,030-1,070/mt FOB Straits. On Aug. 29, there was no interest in buying the cargo. According to Asian sources, Singapore blenders are buying
blendstock cargo from China ports and shipping it to Singapore. A source said that the blended gasoline is being imported
