Asian MTBE lost $28-33/mt on the day to
$932-950/mt FOB Singapore due to a drop in upstream crude oil. The ICE November Brent
crude oil futures fell $2.29-3.50/b to $92.88-98.50/b in Asian trade at 0830
GMT. A trader stated that there was little
spot activity due to China's arbitrage. At
1.107, the MTBE factor was deemed stable. The
92RON gasoline crack to crude oil fell 10.16% to $6.72-7.50/b. FOB Singapore
92RON gasoline benchmark assessment dropped $3.05-4.50/b to $99.60-105.50/b on
Sept. 14. The latest data from the
Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell revealed that India's gasoline consumption
increased 6.99% month-on-month to reach a record 3.005 million mt in August, as
the seasonal monsoons started to recede. According
