Heard: RIL shuts PTA plant for maintenance

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has undertaken a planned turnaround at its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant late last week. A domestic industry source informed a team member, "The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant around November 21, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained." Located in Dahej, India, the plant has a production capacity of 1.5 million mt/year.
