India Recycled Pet: Prices remain stable despite lower bottle bale prices / Audit process on FSSAI approval will be in full swing by next month / Domestic flakes are heard at Rupees 80/kg and pellets are Rupees 120/kg

The steady demand in both the local and international markets, and the market optimism that came from Food Safety and Standards Authority of India's announcement of accepting recycled polyethylene for food grade applications, kept both flakes and Pellets prices unchanged from week to week despite a slight drop in bottle bale prices. R-PET pellets and flakes were unchanged in price from April 30 to $975/mt FBO India. R-PET flakes remained unchanged at $1330/mt FBO India. The domestic bale price was reported to have lowered to Rupees 53-53/kg, from the Rupees 56/kg high heard in recent weeks.
