Asian Recycled PET: The market expects upsides■ Prices stable because of low buying■ Optimism Over China's Re-Opening





Due to thin trading, Asian recycled
low-density polyethylene prices held steady at $80 per pound on June 8. Sources said that prices
have remained stable due to a lack of buying and that there was still plenty of
supply because of the expansion of regional capacity. One market source said that many recyclers have stocks they
bought in April and are ready to sell as there have not been many transactions. Some market participants still expect an upside ahead of the
summer season, especially if Chinese demand continues its recovery. "Shanghai was reopened last week and the government
