week Jan. 10. market. FOB Southeast Asia PET bottle-grade virgin PET was stable at
$970/mt for the week ending Jan. 6. This is because downstream operation rates
were low due the forthcoming Lunar New Year. One market source said that "buying is slow and we will
likely have to wait till February to see movement." Some market players are seeing a rise in the price of R-PET
resin from Thailand-origin, while some recyclers worry that there will be a
wider spread. The balale prices in
Thailand are lower than those of neighbouring countries....
