Asian recycled polyethylene terephthalate prices were stablein the week ended April 2 on prevailing discussions.In Southeast Asia, the business slowdown during the HariRaya holidays has led to slow demand. Indonesia was closed for aweeklong holiday until April 7, traders said. FOB Southeast Asia R-PET clear flakes stableweek over week at $910/mt.Most sources preferred to deal in R-PET flakes, which areclear, light blue or light blue/green mix. The light blue mix washeard to offset the amount of anti-yellow additives required forcertain packaging end-products, sources said.Some recycled PET flakes with PVC content of less than 350ppm were popular among some end-users for making their finalfiber application product cost lower, traders said.The Indonesian rupiah against the US dollar has beenweak and producers have been adjusting prices based on theexchange rate, traders added.
