recycled LDPE, but the demandof finish goods was weak due to the poor economy,
traders said.Consumers do not want to spend money,
so their purchasing volumewas smaller than usual, they added.Although the
Southeast Asia-Europe and Southeast Asia-US arbitrage existed, it remained
difficult amid logistical issues,traders said.Asia remains the cheapest
globally in terms of prices, while anarbitrage window exists in Southeast
Asia-Europe or Southeast Asia-US. A trader said that the shipping cost from
Southeast Asia to the USwas $100-200/mt.However, it was hard to execute the
arbitrage, as customers'trust is difficult to win because of container
