quality disputesSources said that the Asian recycled low
density polyethylene market was stable during the week ending February 8,
despite thin trades. Sources
claim that trade has been affected by low demand for recycled film. Recycling is moving slower than anticipated. The demand for recycled PE film was low because it is not
required to be used in Asia. It becomes competitive only when virgin price are
high, traders stated. Many recyclers
didn't have enough volume to export so they preferred selling locally. Sources said that domestic waste produced too few useful
