Asian Recycled HPPE: Prices stable in thin trade■ The local demand is unchanged■ China's economy is set to recover





In spite of China's economic recovery
prospects, Asian recycled high-density polyethylene prices remained stable on
June 8. While
recyclers noted that local demand was stable, some market participants expressed
concerns about poor export prospects due to the decline in feedstock prices. An Indonesian source said that high shipping costs have
caused some of our exports to be delayed, and buyers have lowered their offers. On signs that Chinese demand is recovering, market
sentiments have improved. Market
participants expect that demand will rebound in the next few months. Prices were stable despite falling virgin HDPE prices. The weekly prices for CFR Southeast Asia HDPE Film Grade
