FOB Southeast Asia marked rose by $40/mt to $860/mt. Due to uncertainties
around delivery times, end-consumers are reluctant to place orders from Chinese
manufacturers. One market source said that
large orders are possible again, with freight prices at a low level and China
opening. Some sources expressed concern
about China's recovery trajectory, as China's case numbers rise ahead of Lunar
New Year festivities. However, there are wider macro-economic headwinds,
inflationary pressures, and uncertainty. One
