quality limits tradeSources said that Asian recycled high-density polyethylene prices were stable in July due to thin trade. According to sources, recycled
prices have been declining in line with prime resin for the past six months due
to low demand. Petrochemical plants had
planned to purchase waste management and recycling companies in order to create
a cost-effective integrated supply network. However, the government has stopped
mergers. Two factors were considered by
buyers when purchasing recycled resin: the quality and the stability of the
supply. Buyers stated that recycled
products have a short life cycle. Additionally, mechanical recycling is not
able to produce high-quality final products. Some sellers indicated that they were considering making
