recycled high density polyethylene prices stable in the week to Jan. 25 due to
no trading during the Lunar New Year holidays. The applications of recycled
resin were similar to that of prime resin, and it was difficult to manufacture
a 100% recycled plastic end-product, sources said. The majority of natural
grade recycled HDPE applications were for personal care and household items,
with the second biggest use in clear food packaging. For natural grade recycled
LDPE and LLDPE, the biggest application was films, sources said. Most recycled
resins were for low-end applications, and used as a blend with prime, with no
