Asian
isomer-grade mixed xylene rose $13/mt on a day to $836/mt FOB Korea. It was at
$855/mt CFR Unv1. It was up $5/mt to $840/mt CFR China Dec. 1. This was due in
part to firmer crude oil. February ICE Brent crude oil futures rose
1.00/barrel at $86.76/b in Asian trade at 0830 GMT. Downstream paraxylene was
up $9.41/mt at $926.33/mt CRU Unv1/China. Market participants are focused
on long-term contract Negotiations for 2023 are ongoing with some stating that
term alphas will not rise as MX supply increases, while operations for PX may
