Asian isomer-grade mixed xylenes rose by
$40.50-45.50/mt over the previous session to $959.50-980.50/mt FBO Korea and
$953.50-980.25/mt CRU Unv1. They also increased $15-20/mt to $990-1020/mt in China on July 18, as crude oil prices soared sharply. The September ICE Brent crude oil futures rose
$4.46-5.50/barrel between July 15 and $103.47-130.50/b by 0830 GMT in Asia. Paraxylene
rose $20.41-25.50/mt to $1,041.33-1,070.50/mt CFR unv1/China. The domestic
MX prices in East China have not risen as much as the international ones. East China
August ex tank was heard at Yuan 7,820-Yuan 7900/mt, or approximately $997-1020/mt
if you consider import parity. According to a trader, it is
difficult to find a vessel that can travel to East China at relatively high
