Asian isomer-grade mixed xylenes rose $7.25/mt on a day to $940.50/mt FBO Korea and $941.50/mt CFR Uv1 Nov. 1. But
fell $22.50/mt at $920/mt CFR China as the paraxylene chains strengthened with
an increase in crude oil prices. China's sentiment weakened
with December domestic prices at Yuan 7,620-Yuan 7650/mt or $908.80/mt if you
consider import parity. According to a
Chinese trader, it is unlikely that buyers will pay more than $890/mt CFR China
December-arrival cargoes. China's Shenghong
Petrochemical began operations at a reformer facility in the week that ended
Nov. 6, but it is unlikely to sell MX on the spot market, as it requires MX
