Asian isomer MX was $12-$18/mt
lower than the previous day at $983-$995/mt FOB Korea. It was also down $12-$17/mt
to $984-$1005/mt CRU Unv1. It was down $2-$4/mt to $966-$985/mt CRI China Oct.
13, which follows lower Brent prices. Asian isomer was last
valued at $983-$1008/mt FOB Korea, $972.5-$995.10/mt Sept. 28 and was then
down $2-$3/mt. A producer of Unv1 PX said
it had not received any MX spot offers during the week ended Oct. 14. PX closed at $1,064-$1,097/mt, while MX fell on the day.
This increased the PX-MX spread from $81-$86/mt to $1,064-$1,098/mt. Sources indicated that although the spread between PX and MX
was growing, it is still not profitable. Sources
