Asian isomer-grade mixedxylene dropped $36-41/mt
on the day at $929-950/mt FOB Korea and at $939-950/mt CFR unv1 Nov. 15,
following a fall in crude oil and fall of related paraxylene. The January ICE Brent
crude oil futures dropped $3.32-4.50/barrel at $92.68-97.50/b by 0830 GMT. The CFR China market was also higher by $5-6/mt to $935-950/mtCFR
China, as domestic prices were supported by a stronger Yuan. The December ex-tank price was at Yuan 7,760-7770/mt or
$947.10-960.50/mt if you use import parity. The prompt price was Yuan 8,150-8.160/mt or $995.20-1020.50/mt. According to South Korean customs data, South Korea will
likely become a net exporter of isomer-MX products in 2022. It was previously a
net importer. However, exports increased 6.9% over the previous year...
