Asian isomer-grade mixed xylenes dropped
$12/mt on the day to $998/mt FOB in South Korea. They also fell $998/mt to
998/mt CFR Unv1 and $5/mt/mt CFR China on Sept. 15. This was after October- and
November loading FOB South Korea cargo offer emerged, and downstream prices
declined. Paraxylene
dropped $13/mt, to $1,111.67/mt China CFR Unv1/China. Meanwhile, the November
ICE Brent crude oil futures contract rose $0.60/barrel, to $93.48/b as of 0830
GMT Asian close. The country's customs
data revealed that South Korean isomer MX exports declined 19.4% month-on-month
to 84,865 tonnes in August, but rose 165.8% year over year. In August, South Korea shipped 27.059 mt of volume to the
