Due to a fall in upstream oil prices, Asian
isomer-grade mixed xylenes fell $12-17/mt on the day at $1.010-2.500/mt FOB
Korea. They were down $11-17/mt ($1,007-1,040/mt CRU Unv1) and $24-30/mt ($989-1000/mt
CRU China Sept. 14. The
ICE November Brent crude oil prices fell $2.29-3.50/b to $92.88-98.50/b in
Asian trade at 0830 GMT. Paraxylene dropped $12.66-17.50/mt on the day to
$1,124.67-1,150.50/mt CFR Unv1/China. The
spread of PX-MX based on FOB Korea isomer-MX price fell slightly to $114.67-130.50/mt
but remained above $100-120/mt which is a significant improvement over the week
prior, when it was $82-87/mt on September 7, S&P Global Commodity Insights
data indicated. Market news: The structure
