EDC: The Asian ethylene dichloride price
was stable at $10-15/mt more week than week Dec. 22, despite a strong US market. CFR Far East Asia EDC prices rose $10/mt in the
week to reach a two-month high at $250/mt Dec. 22. CFR Southeast Asia EDC
prices remained stable at $240-260/mt for the same period. According to
trading sources, EDC cargoes at low prices were no longer available as the US
market was stable. The FOB USG EDC price was stable week-on-week at
$250-270/mt Dec. 20, China's EDC imports are decreasing. November's
imports fell 28.3% to 20,146 mt from a month ago, according to data released
Dec. 21st by China's Customs Statistics Information Center. The data
