India Feb. 8, ahead of an announcement about fresh March offers. In the
week of February 13, fresh March offers will be announced. The price of
ethylene-based PVC fell Yuan 150/mt over the week, to Yuan 6,450/mt by Feb. 8.
Carbide-based PVC dropped Yuan 300/mt to Yuan 6,200/mt in the same time period. Falling
crude oil futures also affected the Asian PVC market. February 8th, ICE
April Brent futures dropped $1.31/b week-on-week to $84.01/b at 4:30 PM
Singapore time. Market participants expected that March would see fresh
offers. However, the increase may be less than originally anticipated. Participants
