Asian PVC Prices Rise $10-20/Mt on Firm Sentiment■ FOB China Rises amid firming local markets■ July Offers likely to be raised





The sentiment was seen as firming due to
coronavirus-induced lockdowns being eased in some Chinese cities. Asian
polyvinylchloride rose $10-20/mt week from June 8. CFR China PVC prices rose
$10 per week to $1,200-1,240/mt, while CFR India prices were $20-25/mt higher
at $1.400-2.500/mt. In line with the
strength of the Chinese market, market sentiment remained firm through the week
of June 5. China's local market continues
to grow as economic activity is expected to resume normal levels following the
Shanghai coronavirus lockdown. China's
economic stimulus package was also announced by the government, which is
