Asian PVC prices drop on lower offers and a bearish outlook / FOB China down $10 to $11/mt and CFR SE Asia flat over the past week / Japan's PVC production in February is down 4.2% from the previous month

In the week ending March 19, Asian PVC prices were either stable or soft. China's domestic downstream buyers remained cautious due to a weak macroeconomic environment, and competitive Taiwanorigin bids pushed down import prices. CFR China PVC prices were down $25/mt on a week-on-week basis at $695/mt, below a $700/mt offer. FOB China PVC Prices unchanged from day to day, but lower by $10/mt week over weekend at $623/mt. Ex-China prices were consistently available in SE Asia and weighed on spot prices. CFR SE Asia PVC prices were unchanged from week to week, at $690/mt on March 19. This was below the offers of $710-$720/mt. PVC based on ethylene fell Yuan 100/mt in one week to Yuan 5,075/mt, while PVC based on carbide dropped Yuan 20,/mt over the same period...
