Spot US export PVC prices fell $50-$55/mt based on
November volume deals in the range of $660-690/mt FAS Houston. Prices were assessed at
$680-690/mt FAS. The base range is
$660-$670/mt FAS. An additional $20-$25/mt is added to cover higher costs for
drayage trucking or storage of packaged material at warehouses. The assessment does NOT include freight, insurance, or
margins. Due to softening global demand,
US spot export PVC prices fell nearly 62% between May and June. As Asian volumes recovered their global competitiveness,
declines in Asian pricing and container freight rates are contributing to this
