Asian PVC: Stable to 10/mt more after Sep offer
announcement■ Rollovers from August■ Discussions on the safeguard duty of US/China PVCAfter an August initial offer was rolled
over, the Asian polyvinylchloride price was stable at $10-15/mt higher. CFR China PVC prices rose
$10-15/mt over the week to $910-930/mt on Aug. 10, while CFR India was stable at
$1,050-1,080/mt for the same period. The
initial September offer was made unchanged from August, at $930-950/mt CFR
China and $1,090-1,120/mt CFR India, $880-900/mt FOB Taiwan. According to a few sources, the Chinese PVC market was at
its lowest point as demand was rising. However,
such buying was not sufficient to convince buyers to accept September rollover
