over week Dec. 7, buoyed in part by strong January offers. CFR China PVC
prices rose $75/mt week to $815/mt Dec. 7, a new two-month high. CFR India
prices increased $40/mt to $840/mt in the same time period. Dec. 7, saw
new January offers with a $90/mt price rise month-on-month to $815/mt CFR China
and $840/mt CFR India, respectively. There was also $770/mt FOB
Taiwan. Sources claim that a key producer was out of stock within minutes
of the announcement. The offer's quantity was lower than the December offers
and the demand was strong. Another source stated that producers expect stronger
demand in India...
