polyvinylchloride. This
week, trading activity was limited due to China’s National Day holiday lasting
a week. October 10th is the expected
return date for Chinese market participants. The price discussions were limited since most of the October
negotiations were completed. However, fresh offers for November will be made in
a few weeks. Asian PVC was priced at
$820/mt. CFR China on Oct. 5, $830/mt. CFR Southeast Asia, and $900/mt. CFR
India on October 5. According to market
sources, Asian PVC is at its lowest point as Indian demand is expected to
