$10-30/mt week on Sept. 28, due to weakening freight rates and bearish demand
in China. The
CFR China PVC price fell $30/mt weekly to $820/mt on September 28, which is the
lowest level since July 8, 2020, when it was valued at $790/mt. CFR India PVC prices dropped $10/mt weekly to $900/mt on
September 28, which is the lowest price since Aug. 5, 2020, when it was valued
at $860/mt. Sources claimed that the
current weakness of Asia PVC was due to falling container freight rates. Sources claim that freight rates have dropped back to
pre-COVID-19 levels. Sources said that
