Asian PVC: Prices drop $40-$60/mt on lower Dec offers- Dec offer lowest since June 2020- Market bottoming outThe announcement of low
December prices for Asian polyvinylchloride decreased the price of Asian polyvinyl
chloride by $40-60/mt compared to a month ago. Market sources reported
that December's new offers were announced earlier this week at $725/mt CFR
China and $740/mt CFR India. The prices also dropped to $680-700/mt FOB Taiwan.
This was in response to a volume discount of 500 tonnes or more. These offers are down from November's offering of $790/mt
CFR China and $840/mt CFI India, respectively, and $740-$755/mt FOB Taiwan. CFR China PVC fell $40/mt this week to $715/mt November 23,
the lowest level since June 3, 2019, when it was valued at $705/mt. The CFR India PVC price fell $50/mt to $715/mt...
