Asian PVC: China's FOB remains unchanged despite muted export demand /Market Fundamentals Unchanged: Limited supply and weak demand /CFR China and CFR SE Asia prices remain unchanged amid weak demand

The Asian PVC market was stable during the week ending July 9. Prices on the Chinese domestic and export markets were rangebound due to a weakening export demand. PVC CFR China remained unchanged at $715/mt on July 9 compared to the previous week, in line with tradeable indications at below $700-730/mt as well as an offer at $720/mt. According to a producer in Northeast Asia, buyers are still looking at CFR China levels between $710 and $720/mt. The same producer stated that buyers are still sourcing products from Taiwan, South Korea or Japan for final exports such as films, flooring and more.
