polyvinylchloride stable to down $15-20/mt weekly on week Nov. 9, in a bearish
marketplace. CFR China PVC benchmark price fell $15/mt on week to be
evaluated at $765/mt. This is the lowest level since $705-725/mt Jun 3,
2020. CFR India PVC prices fell $10/mt last week, to $810/mt Nov. 9 - the
lowest since $745/mt on June 3, 2020. Due to the weak demand from China
and COVID-19 lockdowns, market sentiment in Asia was bearish. The Asian
market was also affected by a weaker global PVC market. According to
market sources, China's PVC plant operations have decreased. Ethylene-based PVC
plants operate at 70% and carbide-based PVC at 65% respectively. These
