polyvinylchloride prices dropped $80-$150/mt over the week of July 20. CFR China PVC prices fell
$80-100/mt over the week. They were assessed at $900-920/mt on July 20. This is
the lowest level since September 2, 2020, when they were assessed at $890-920/mt. The CFR India PVC price dropped $100-120/mt to $1.050-2.500/mt
in the same period. This was below the $1,100-1,140/mt mark for the first 21 months. Market sentiment was lowered
after August's fresh offers were made. They reflect a decrease of $190-$230/mt
over a month ago. According to market
sources, a new offer for August was reduced by $190-220/mt to $930-950/mt CFR
