Asian PVC exports: Chinese PVC rises on Indian purchasinguptick / China's PVC domestic prices rise on higher futures / Southeast Asia market drops $15/mt due to a bearish outlook

The week ending March 26 saw mixed results for Asian PVC. While China export and domestic prices rose, Southeast Asia import prices dropped due to the region’s negative outlook in conjunction with lower offers. CFR China PVC prices were unchanged at $695/mt on March 26. This was below the $750/mt offer. FOB China PVC Prices unchanged from day to day, but higher by $17/mt on a weekly basis at $640/mt. A trader stated that the strong performance of Chinese PVC futures and heavy Indian buying have taken out Chinese producers' inventory for April loading. CFR Southeast Asia PVC prices down $15/mt from last week to $675/mt on March 26. This is below the $680/mt offered by Japan and China.
