to steady demand, Asian polystyrene prices remained stable over the week ended
Dec. 21. The prices of Asian general purpose polystyrene remained
unchanged week-on-week at $1,145/mt CFR China Dec. 21 and $1,170/mt CFR
Southeast Asia Dec. 21. Styrene monomer prices on the upstream markets
increased $2.50/mt week to $1,010.50/mt CFR China December 21. The week
ended unchanged for high impact polystyrene at $1,220/mt China CFR China and
$1.260/mt Southeast Asia CFR. The general grade in expandable polystyrene
markets was steady at $1.205/mt FOB Northeast Asia, and the fire-retardant at
$1.355/mt.Asian
