Asian Propylene Prices: Prices are stable or lower amid weaker discussion / Lower buy-sell levels on CFR China market / Downstream PO and ACN markets mixed

Prices in Asia were flat to lower on May 7 due to weaker discussions about prices and low demand. FOB Korea prices remained stable at $780/mt in May, supported by balanced fundamentals. CFR China fell $5/mt from $805/mt. Buy indications were around $795-800/mt while sell indications were around $805-810/mt. There were no reported trades. China's ex-tank prices varied on May 7. In Shandong, prices rose Yuan 25/mt per day to Yuan 6,600/mt while in East China prices remained stable at Yuan 6675/mt. A trader in Northeast Asia said, "There is not much discussion today. Prices are still very low." The fundamentals of the downstream acrylonitrile markets were mostly unchanged. Prices for domestic ex-tank remained stable between Yuan 7,950-8.050/mt (in Shandong) and Yuan 8,300-8.500/mt (in the East). Prices on the propylene-oxide...
