$50/mt in the week ended Dec. 3. This was due to buyers not being interested in
imports, given the low cost of domestic materials and weak PP fundamentals. The
slight recovery in crude oil prices did not bring back buyer interest. At 4:30 PM Singapore time (0830 GMT), the ICE February Brent
crude oil futures contract was $1.98/b- $1.110/b higher than yesterday's close
at $71.88/b- $81.95/b. A South Korean
producer stated that the market was still very depressed. "The supply
(imports is very tight) is limited but deals are limited as term negotiation is
underway." Due to weak PP, propylene
