On June 25, Asian propylene remained stable at $800/mt CFR China, with tradeable levels being heard at this level despite lower prices in China. On June 25, the propylene prices in Shandong were down Yuan 45/mt from day to day, at Yuan 6,780/mt. Participants on the market said that the market was less stable than it had been earlier in the week. CFR China prices were still hovering around $800/mt. One Chinese trader reported a "fading" of buying sentiment and fewer discussions. Another Chinese trader stated that it is difficult for polypropylene producers to buy propylene above Yuan 6,500 because it would not be profitable. CFR China prices are around $800/mt.
