market in Asia was steady on May 6. July ICE Brent crude
futures rose $1.31/b, to $111.72/b by 0830 GMT Asian close May 6. However, this
did not attract any demand for propylene. A
buyer from Northeast Asia stated that the Chinese buyers had just returned from
holiday, while Japanese and Korean sellers were on holiday. This makes trading
very quiet this week. China Shandong
prices rose Yuan 50-65/mt to Yuan 8,750-8,950/mt, as restocking began after Labour
