Asian propylene: Unchanged in thin trade- Weak Yuan deters import buying- ICE Brent crude rises $1.21/bNov. 25, the propylene market
was unchanged as buyers avoided spot purchases and waited for clearer market
direction in downstream markets. The January ICE Brent
crude oils futures contract rose $1.21/b over the Asian close of $85.91/b 0830
GMT. The market for propylene was not
affected by the rise in crude oil prices. Prices
for propylene from Shandong were at Yuan 7,275/mt ex tank Nov. 25, unchanged
since Nov. 24, and propylene from east China was at Yuan 7,125/mt expank Nov.
25, unchanged since Nov. 24. A buyer from
eastern China said that the weak Yuan against greenback currency is another
