Asian Propylene Daily Rationale

Propylene CFR China was unchanged in assessment at
$1.095/mt-$1.115/mt May 13. This is below a selling indication at
$1.100-$1,150/mt CFR China, and above a buying indication at $1.050/mt-$1.070/mt
by end-users. FOB Korea was unchanged at $1.130/mt on May 13 above buying indication
at $1.040-$1,050/mt FOB Korean by a buyer. China Shandong prices remained unchanged at Yuan 8,525/mt
in muted trading. The East China domestic price was unchanged at Yuan 8,525/mt-Yuan
8,540/mt in thin trading. In the weekly market CFR Taiwan was down $40-50/mt
from the previous week to $1,100/mt- $1,130/mt. This is in line with the
tradable indication of $1,100/mt-$1,130/mt heard by a buyer and producer. FOB Japan prices were assessed at $1,095/mt-$1,110/mt this
week, a $35 decrease from the previous week. This is above the tradable
indicator of $1,080-$1,090/mt...
